SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

What is the standard shipping cost?

The total shipping cost = the $3 "Per shipment" cost + each "Per Item" cost, based on weight.

* Per Shipment Cost: $3.00

* Per Item Cost: $1.00 (most books). $2.00 (large books)

When will I receive my shipment?

The in-house bookshop sends items at least once a week via Media Mail from Manhattan (ZIP 10036). You can expect your shipment to arrive as early as five days after purchase or as late as three weeks after purchase depending on your ZIP code. If you have questions or concerns about your shipment, please contact us.

I live in New York City. Can I come pick up my order and save on shipping?

All items purchased online will be charged our standard shipping rates and refunds are not available. If you would like to pick-up an order in person, please place your order via phone by calling (212) 564-1235, ext. 3154 during normal business hours (M-F, 10-6pm).

Can I return an order and/or get a refund?

All orders are final. At this time we do not offer returns or refunds.
 


PERFORMANCE RIGHTS

I'd like to produce and/or do a reading of one of the plays sold here. Can I buy the scripts I need through the PH online bookshop?

Professionals and amateurs are hereby warned that the plays sold here are subject to a royalty. All rights, including professional, amateur stage rights, motion picture, recitation, lecturing, public reading, radio broadcasting, electronic reproduction (including CD-ROM, CD-I, information storage and retrieval systems and photocopying), and the rights of translation into foreign languages are strictly reserved. Particular emphasis is laid upon the matter of readings, permission for which must be secured from the Authors' agents in writing. ALL inquiries concerning rights, including amateur rights, should be addressed to the appropriate agent:
