For 50 years, Playwrights Horizons has been committed to the advancement of contemporary American playwrights, and to deepening the impact of new writing in the diverse communities of New York City and beyond. Every aspect of our theater has evolved from our belief in the playwright’s enduring power to help us navigate a complicated world, to bring beauty and complexity to the human experience, in times of joy as well as in times of uncertainty.
Until we’re able to safely gather at the theater again, we’ll continue our work to bring artists and audiences together through whatever resources we have available to us.
Today, as we face a global crisis and a period of social isolation, the work of writers and artists is more important than ever. Our work doesn’t stop. We are continuing to serve our community of artists and hope you will join this effort by making a donation of any amount in support of our shared community.Donations may be fulfilled in monthly installments. Contact Eva Rosa, Associate Director, Individual Giving, at 212 564 1235 x3144 or email@example.com for more information or for any other donation related questions. To donate by text message, text BRBNYC to 44-321.
Make a monthly, recurring gift, and you will have a lasting impact on Playwrights Horizons. Your support helps us to continue encouraging the artists of our time to bring us the thought-provoking and important new work we love.
