When does my Young Membership expire?
2018/19 memberships expire at the end of the season in July 2018, so be sure to add a 2019/20 Young Membership to your order now!
Can I join if I’m 35 right now, or turning 35 soon?
Yes. You can join as a Young Member for the full season if you are still 35 when you register.
Can I buy more than one $25 ticket to a show?
At the moment we limit Young Member tickets to one per customer. But you can buy a $35 ticket for a friend or family member, with no age restriction whatsoever.
I can’t make the performance I booked, can I exchange my ticket for another date?
You can exchange your ticket for any performance of any show currently running with at least 24 hours notice, but remember that fees still apply. Hint: Become a Friend and exchanges are free and unlimited, and you get earlier booking and bookshop discounts.
It’s the day of the show, and I can’t use my ticket or exchange. Can my friend use my ticket?
Technically Young Membership tickets are non-transferable, but if you contact us and let us know your friend will be using your ticket, and they are 35 or under, that’s fine.
Will I be charged any fees?
We don’t charge any membership fees. We’ve lowered your ticketing service fees, so you only pay $1.50 fee per ticket.
What’s the catch?
There’s no catch! We know theater tickets can be expensive. We think Off Broadway theater and new work should be accessible to our younger generation of theatergoers, who are the future theatergoers of the American theater.
What happens after I turn 36?
We hope you’ll try our standard Membership — for a $45 one-time fee, you get access to $25 preview tickets. That's still significant savings from a regular theater ticket, with a lot more benefits than the Young Membership.
