About the Film
About the Director
Nothing can stand in the way of feisty New York sexagenarian photographer Flo Fox from getting the perfect shot. Not even multiple sclerosis, lung cancer, or visual impairment. Not anything.
With simplistic style and a love of quirk, she tells stories to inspire empathy and open-mindedness. Her documentary short FLO has screened internationally and garnered top prizes at several film festivals, including the Grand Jury Prize in the Shorts Program at the 2012 DOC NYC Film Festival. Based in New York City, she works as a Content + Community Manager at Vimeo while continuing to pursue personal documentary projects and freelance cinematography. She is a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective and previously interned at Maysles Films with legendary documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles.
