During a reluctantly undertaken trip to her late grandmother’s grand home in the middle of nowhere, Nancy learns that a person’s sentiments and complexities aren’t limited to the things they leave behind for self-preservation.

Gillian Jacobs is an actress and director who recently starred in the Netflix original series Love for producer Judd Apatow. Previously, she starred in the critically-acclaimed comedy Community. On the film side, Jacobs recently wrapped the lead role in the feature film Larry for Amblin, and her other work includes the Netflix film Ibiza, Warner Bros.’ Life of the Party, opposite Melissa McCarthy, and Mike Birbiglia's Don’t Think Twice.

As a director, Jacobs helmed the narrative short film Curated for Refinery29's groundbreaking Shatterbox Series with TNT. She previously made her directorial debut with The Queen of Code, a documentary short film about the computer scientist and high-ranking naval officer Grace Hopper. As a writer, Jacobs has contributed articles and interviews to Lenny Letter as well as Glamour Magazine
