About the Film

Gemma Arterton and Elizabeth Debicki light up the screen in this lavish period drama depicting the real-life romance between socialite and popular author Vita Sackville-West and literary icon Virginia Woolf. Mercurial Vita ardently pursues awkward Virginia, causing Woolf to risk public scandal to be with her new love. Featuring a modern score that reflects the contrasting characters at the center of this torrid affair, Vita & Virginia presents a very modern love story of historic proportions.
