About the Film

Writer/director Hilary Brougher crafts an ode to faded love in this story of Lila (Talia Balsam), who watches the life she’s built with her husband, Edgar (Scott Cohen), fall apart over the course of a summer. Featuring a tour de force performance by Balsam as a forlorn wife and mother who must come to grips with unexpected change, Brougher’s film depicts love, betrayal, and reluctant resolution in all of their messy, complicated, and poetic shades.
