About the Film

Self-taught scientist Peter (Peter Sarsgaard) tunes homes for a living, practicing a sort of acoustic feng shui that helps alleviate his clients' physical and emotional discomfort, but his true objective is elusive academic recognition for his groundbreaking urban sound studies. As Peter struggles to solve the problems of new client Ellen (Rashida Jones), he finds himself facing an even bigger challenge to his life's work. Michael Tyburski's feature debut is an intriguing and often slyly humorous drama, anchored by smart, complex performances.
