About the Director
Inspired by a real person in 1909, this stop-motion musical tells the story of one Long Island woman’s urge to fly and her perseverance to see it through.
Kristina Yee is a director, writer, animator and illustrator from northern California. She has always had an incredible love of storytelling, which manifested in her studying Folklore and Mythology in her undergraduate years at Harvard University. She then attended the National Film and Television School, where she made "Miss Todd," which has won a Student Academy Award and is flying to festivals around the world.
