On her bed in a run-down nursing home, a stubborn old woman struggles to send a text message to her daughter.
Mick Andrews is a spirited writer and director who loves telling heartfelt human stories. He has worked in the film and TV industry in NZ and London for 12 years. Brett O’Gorman is an accomplished writer, actor, comedian and composer.Mick and Brett have been working closely together since high school. Dotty is their directorial debut. It had its US Premiere at SXSW and recently won Best Short Film at the Nantucket Film Festival.
