About the Director
Over the span of one night, a charismatic social shape-shifter invades a party and becomes everyone’s best friend and possibly their worst enemy.
David Lassiter attended Northwestern University in Chicago, where he earned a degree in film and English literature. He worked as a commercial cinematographer in Los Angeles before transitioning to directing. His first short film, “Like a Good Neighbor,” was accepted to several international film festivals including the St. Louis International Film Festival and Vegas Cine Fest. “The Opportunist” - his first short as both a writer and director - premiered during Critics' Week at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
