SYNOPSIS
Throw together a country-blues-loving guitarist and a metalhead drummer and you get the Dodos, a fascinating psych-folktronic duo. Following an appearance at this year’s Siren Festival and the release of their second album Visiter, San Francisco’s The Dodos band bring their eclectic sound influenced by West African Ewe drumming, progressive metal and country blues fingerpicking enhancing the syncopated rhythms coming from the acoustic guitar to create one of today’s most unique sounds.
